Kryalos SGR, a private and independent asset management company with €14,2 billion of AuM, has completed the sale of the prestigious freehold property located at via Bassano Porrone, 6 in Milan. The asset was acquired by the family office of a leading private investor.

Located in the heart of the Central Business District, a few steps from Piazza Cordusio and Piazza del Duomo, the building is considered one of the most remarkable trophy assets in central Milan. The property, home to one of Italy’s most prestigious financial institutions, covers approximately 5,500 square metres spread over five floors above ground and one basement level, finished off with a panoramic rooftop terrace.

Designed in the early 20th century by architect Ulisse Stacchini, a leading figure in Italian Art Nouveau, the asset has been the subject of significant renovations in recent years, preserving its distinctive architectural features and refurbishing the interior spaces in line with the highest contemporary standards. The building proudly holds LEED Platinum, WELL Gold and BREEAM In-Use Excellent certifications, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and efficiency.

The property was acquired in 2020 by the Prometheus fund, managed by Kryalos SGR and invested by funds managed by Blackstone.

The transaction is one of the most significant of the year in Milan’s prime office market, confirming the attractiveness of the CBD for investors and industrial groups interested in iconic assets with excellent ESG characteristics and high-standing tenants.
