Kryalos SGR, a private and independent asset management company with €15 billion in AuM, has completed, through the Larius fund in which Sansiri Capital – luxury hospitality investment arm of Sansiri, one of the leading property operators in South-East Asia – participated, the acquisition of The Lake Como EDITION, a prestigious luxury hotel situated in Cadenabbia, on the shores of Lake Como.

The property was sold by the Novum fund, also managed by Kryalos SGR and subscribed by Bain Capital and Omnam Investment Group, which had acquired the asset in 2021.

The Lake Como EDITION was created through the redevelopment of a historic 19th-century building overlooking Lake Como and operates under the EDITION Hotels brand, part of the Marriott International group. The property has 148 rooms, including 24 suites and 2 penthouses, and offers a luxury hospitality experience that combines contemporary design, dining, wellness and direct access to the lake.

This transaction represents an example of Kryalos’s ability to manage complex assets throughout the entire investment cycle, supporting their transformation, enhancement and subsequent transfer between investors with different strategies and objectives, whilst ensuring management continuity and the preservation of value over time.
