Kryalos SGR completed, through funds linked to Euryale, the acquisition of seven healthcare residences in Northern Italy, for a total of 964 beds and a surface area of over 47,300 sqm.

The Euryale Healthcare Italia 2 Fund is also committed to purchasing two additional healthcare residences, currently under construction, to reach a total of 1,324 beds and over 67,500 sqm.

Kryalos SGR, a private and independent asset management company with €14.2 billion of AuM and among the “significant in terms of size” SGR according to the definition contained in the Bank of Italy Regulation, has finalized the purchase of seven healthcare residences through Euryale Healthcare Italia 1 and Euryale Healthcare Italia 2, two closed-end real estate investment funds specializing in the healthcare sector.

The investments involved seven newly constructed properties located in Lombardy and Veneto. Overall, the facilities can accommodate up to 964 self-sufficient and non-self-sufficient elderly people, covering a total area of over 47,300 sqm.

For each asset, long-term lease agreements were signed with leading companies operating in the sector during the closing phase.

The Euryale Healthcare Italia 2 Fund has also committed to purchasing two additional healthcare residences located in Veneto and Lombardy and currently under construction, which will also be leased to a leading operator in the sector.

The Euryale Healthcare Italia 1 and Euryale Healthcare Italia 2 funds are subscribed by Pierval Santé, a French FIA operating in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, the UK, Canada and Italy, managed by Euryale, a French group with €3.3 billion in assets under management in the healthcare, senior living and residential home sectors.
